In August of 1999, I Thru-Hiked California's John Muir Trail from Tuolumne Meadows to Mt. Whitney.  I began with my roommate at Berkeley, David Dobervich, and a friend that worked with me at the Sacramento REI, David Coppedge.  David Coppedge left at Red's Meadow, and David Dobervich injured his hip and left at Vermillion Valley Resort.  From that point forward I joined another group of hikers to complete the trail.  Ike, Jiwoo, Antonio, and Lou were great company for the remainder of the trail.  Check out their web page.  Below are photos from that hike.
